abstract = {The title "legends of Husain" is under the entry of "Husain bin Ali" in "Encyclopedia of Islam" in Leiden, Holland. The author of this article believes that some extreme Shiites consider the personality of Husain bin Ali to be extraterrestrial and attribute some things to him. The presence of light of the Imam before creation, the position of intercession in the afterlife and the miracles of his lifetime are among the things for which the author chose the title "legends of Husain". Using a descriptive-analytical approach and using deskresearch, this article seeks to examine this title to measure the correctness of the author's method. Despite the writer's efforts in using different sources and paying attention to the historical course in explaining the issues, he has neglected some matters; Including: Eliminating the necessary rational and narrative prerequisites in the statement of some content, errors in interpretation, direct reference to the raw hadith sources in the transmission of theological beliefs, the predominance of presuppositions and ijtihad instead of the expression of Shia beliefs. This problem has caused serious criticisms in the field of citation method, logical science, epistemology and structure to this part of the entry. },

abstract_fa ={عنوان «افسانه های حسین» در ذیل مدخل «حسین  بن  علی» در «دائرةالمعارف اسلام» لایدن هلند قرار دارد. نویسنده این عنوان اعتقاد دارد برخی از شیعیان افراطی شخصیت حسین  بن  علی(ع) را فرازمینی می پندارند و چیزهایی را به او نسبت می دهند . وجود نوری امام قبل از خلقت، مقام شفاعت در آخرت و معجزات دوران های گوناگون زندگی آن حضرت از جمله اموری هستند که نویسنده عنوان «افسانه های حسین» را برای آن برگزیده است. پژوهش حاضر با رویکرد توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه  ای در پی آن است که شیوه های به کاررفته در این عنوان را بررسی کند تا درستی روش نویسنده را بسنجد. با وجود تلاش نویسنده در بهره گیری از منابع مختلف و توجه به سیر تاریخی در بیان مسائل، وی برخی امور را نادیده گرفته است؛ از جمله: حذف مقدمات لازم عقلی و نقلی در بیان برخی مطالب، خطا در برداشت، مراجعه مستقیم به منابع خام حدیثی در انتقال اعتقادات کلامی، غلبه پیش فرض ها و اجتهادات به جای بیان عقاید شیعه. این مسئله موجب وارد آمدن نقدهای جدی در زمینه روش استنادی، علمی منطقی، معرفت شناسی و ساختاری به این بخش از مدخل شده است.},
