The existence of God is argued based on the possible existence’s need to the necessary being by itself in this argument. Despite the solidity and strength of this argument and its reliance on self-evident rational premises, some Western philosophers and Eastern researchers have criticized it and tried to distort its validity and epistemological value to prove the first cause. Some factors that may help us in answering a major part of these criticisms are as follows: the correct understanding of the argument and the accurate analysis of its philosophical terms, the validation of epistemological tools in the study of the premises of this argument and the knowledge of the scope of their function. Having an epistemological view and using a "descriptive-analytical" method, this article examines the criticisms of this argument and tries to solve and respond to them by explaining the role and position of cognitive tools in the premises of this argument. برهان «وجوب و امکان» یکی از متقن‌ترین براهین عقلی اثبات وجود خداست. در این برهان با تکیه بر نیازمندی ممکن‌الوجود به واجب‌الوجود بالذات، بر وجود خدا استدلال می‌شود. با وجود اتقان و استواری این برهان و ابتنای آن بر مقدمات بدیهی عقلی، برخی از فلاسفه‌ی غربی و پژوهشگران شرقی انتقاداتی بر آن وارد ساخته و سعی بر آن داشته‌اند تا اعتبار و ارزش معرفتی آن را در جهت اثبات علت اولی مخدوش سازند. فهم صحیح برهان و تحلیل درست اصطلاحات فلسفی آن، اعتبارسنجی ابزارهای معرفتی در تحصیل مقدمات این برهان و شناخت قلمرو کارکرد هریک از آنها می‌تواند ما را در پاسخگویی به بخش عمده‌ای از این اشکالات یاری رساند. این نوشتار از نگاه معرفت‌شناسی و به روش «توصیفی ـ تحلیلی» به بررسی اشکالات واردشده بر این برهان پرداخته و درصدد رفع و پاسخگویی به آنها با تبیین نقش و جایگاه ابزارهای شناختی در مقدمات این برهان است. https://kalami.nashriyat.ir/sites/kalami.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5000277-1726484760.pdf
