The theory denying the miraculous character of these books has emerged on the basis of specific theological assumptions and has influenced interpretations of the status of divine revelation. The importance of examining and criticizing these foundations lies in the fact that any position regarding the miraculous or non-miraculous nature of earlier scriptures depends on the validity of these assumptions. Using an analytical–critical approach, this study first identifies and reconstructs these foundations, including the absence of supernatural disruption of ordinary causality, the lack of formal challenge (taḥaddī), the existence of counter-examples, and the denial of universality. It then critically evaluates them from both rational and revelatory perspectives. The findings show that these foundations lack sufficient demonstrative power and are inconsistent with rational analysis and Qur’anic evidence. Accordingly, the theory denying the miraculous nature of the original Torah and Gospel lacks theoretical coherence and requires fundamental reconsideration. مسئلة اعجاز کتب آسمانی پیش از قرآن، به‌ویژه تورات و انجیل نخستین، از مباحث مغفول در کلام اسلامی به‌شمار می‌رود. نظریة نفی اعجاز این کتب با اتکا به مبانی خاصی در اندیشة متکلمان اسلامی شکل گرفته و در تبیین جایگاه کلام وحیانی اثرگذار بوده است. اهمیت واکاوی و نقد مبانی این نظریه در آن است که هرگونه موضع‌گیری در قبال اعجاز یا عدم اعجاز کتب آسمانی متوقف بر صحت این مبانی است. پژوهش حاضر با رویکرد تحلیلی ـ انتقادی، نخست مبانی نظریة یادشده، شامل عدم خرق عادت، فقدان تحدی، وجود معارضه و نفی جهان‌شمولی را شناسایی و بازیابی کرده و سپس از منظر عقلانی و وحیانی به بررسی انتقادی آنها پرداخته است. یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که مبانی یادشده فاقد قدرت اثباتی کافی‌اند و با تحلیل‌های عقلی و شواهد قرآنی ناسازگارند. بر این اساس، نظریة نفی اعجاز تورات و انجیل نخستین، به‌لحاظ مبانی نظری از انسجام لازم برخوردار نیست و نیازمند بازنگری بنیادین است. https://kalami.nashriyat.ir/sites/kalami.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5002224-1781338200.pdf
