These challenges are rooted in disagreements concerning the relationship between religion and human epistemic needs. The present study, employing an analytical-argumentative approach, demonstrates that the answers to these questions depend on the conception of the nature and domain of religion, which itself is influenced by the "method of determining the domain of religion." The findings indicate that reductionist perspectives, relying on incorrect methods in discovering the domain of religion, deem the production of these sciences impossible. In contrast, comprehensive approaches, based on a correct and encompassing method in domain-determination, regard it not only as possible but also as necessary. Moreover, the method and scope of the produced Islamic humanities are directly subordinate to the method adopted in determining the domain of religion. Therefore, the formulation of Islamic humanities depends on adopting a correct and comprehensive method in defining the domain of religion. تولید علوم انسانی اسلامی، به‌عنوان یکی از ارکان تحقق تمدن نوین اسلامی، با چالش‌های نظری بنیادین در سه محور «امکان»، «گستره» و «روش» مواجه است. این چالش‌ها ریشه در اختلاف‌نظرها درباره نسبت دین با نیازهای معرفتی بشر دارد. پژوهش حاضر با رویکردی تحلیلی ـ استدلالی نشان می‌دهد که پاسخ به این پرسش‌ها، وابسته به نوع تلقی از ماهیت و قلمرو دین است که خود متأثر از «روش قلمروشناسی دین» است. یافته‌ها حاکی از آن است که دیدگاه‌های تقلیل‌گرا، با تکیه بر روش‌های نادرست در کشف قلمرو دین، تولید این علوم را ناممکن می‌انگارند. در مقابل، رویکردهای جامع‌نگر، مبتنی‌بر روشی صحیح و فراگیر در قلمروشناسی، نه‌تنها آن را ممکن، بلکه ضروری می‌دانند. افزون بر این، روش و گستره علوم انسانی اسلامیِ تولیدشده نیز تابع مستقیم روش اتخاذ‌شده در قلمروشناسی دین است. بنابراین، تدوین علوم انسانی اسلامی در گرو اتخاذ روشی درست و جامع در تعیین قلمرو دین به‌شمار می‌آید. https://kalami.nashriyat.ir/sites/kalami.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5003319-1788674595.pdf
