No doubt, martyr professor Motahhari is regarded as one of the prominent and innovator figures in contemporary Islamic thought. He had deep and vast studies on Islamic philosophy and theology. Due to his familiarity with western philosophy and theology, he seriously concerned himself with important problems and basic questions of modern period and had very influential role in founding the modern theology. Therefore, we can regard him as the founder of new Shiʿite theology. The present paper tries to clarify his position in the discourse of modern theology, and discuss some of his theories on emergent theological issues. علم کلام، به ویژه مباحث جدید کلامی، از مهم ترین مباحث علمی است. بی شک استاد مطهری از چهره های شاخص و نوآور در اندیشة اسلامی معاصر محسوب می شود. وی در فلسفه و کلام اسلامی دارای مطالعات عمیق و گسترده بود؛ در پرتو آشنایی با فلسفه و الهیات غرب، به مسائل مهم و پرسش های اساسی این دوران توجه جدی از خود نشان داد و سهم مؤثری در تأسیس کلام جدید از خود بر جای گذاشت. از این رو، می توان وی را مؤسس کلام جدید شیعی برشمرد. این مقاله درصدد است ضمن روشن ساختن جایگاه استاد مطهری در گفتمان کلام جدید، برخی از نظریه های مهم وی دربارة مباحث نوپدید کلامی را بررسی کند.
