However, the declaration of seal of prophethood by the manifest religion of Islam not only ended legislative prophethood but also declared the end of propagating prophethood. The question that arises here is: what is the secret behind the seal of propagating prophethood? Several proofs have been offered in this regard. What we understand from the Quranic verses and Infallible Imams' traditions is that every kind of knowledge about religion which man needs until the Day of Resurrection was revealed to the Holy Prophet at the time of the revelation of the sacred law of Islam, which, due to its comprehensiveness, differs from all pervious sacred laws. Therefore, the seal of propagating prophethood was also declared because no need for new revelation and propagating prophets remained. Using a descriptive- analytical approach, the research relies on Quranic verses and Infallible Imams' traditions to support its argument. در همة ادیان آسمانی گذشته، جانشینان پیامبران تشریعی، انبیای تبلیغی بودند که بر اساس دیدگاه رایج متکلمان1 با دریافت وحی، به تبلیغ، تبیین و تفسیر شریعت پیش از خود می پرداختند؛ اما با اعلام ختم نبوت در دین مبین اسلام، نه تنها نبوت تشریعی پایان یافت، ختم نبوت تبلیغی نیز اعلام شد. حال پرسشی که در اینجا مطرح می شود این است که دلیل و سرّ ختم نبوت تبلیغی چیست؟ در این باره ادلة پرشماری مطرح شده است؛2 اما آنچه ما از بررسی آیات قرآن و روایات معصومین(ع) به دست آورده ایم، این است که با نزول شریعت کامل اسلام، بر خلاف شرایع پیشین، همة آنچه بشر در باب معارف دین تا دامنة قیامت بدان نیاز داشت بر پیامبر اکرم(ص) نازل شد؛ ازاین رو دیگر نیازی به نزول وحی جدید و ارسال انبیای تبلیغی باقی نماند و لذا ختم نبوت تبلیغی نیز اعلام شد. در این تحقیق، از روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی بهره برده ایم که مبتنی بر آیات قرآن و روایات معصومین(ع) است. https://kalami.nashriyat.ir/sites/kalami.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/6_0.pdf
