abstract = {The holy Qur’an contains various verses about guidance and uses different terms taking into account that the occasion in which the term issued. Commentators have expressed their views on these verses and did their best to explain the meaning of guidance. One of these terms is the word “Imam” which comes in the “verse of trial”. Scholars have expounded their views on this verse. The author of Al-Mizan, ʻAllamah ṬabāṭabaῙ, introduces an innovative interpretation of this verse. Theological Knowledge, in 5th volume, contains an article entitled "contemplation on ʻAllamah ṬabāṭabaῙ’s theory about the idea of Imamate in the verse of trial" in which the author rejects ʻAllamas interpretation. Rejecting ʻAllamas interpretation, the author of that article holds that the idea refers to the prophet Ibrahim's capability to enforce decrees. The present paper confirms ʻAllamah ṬabāṭabaῙ’s proofs after a thorough review of his interpretation, to refute the proofs and views given by the author of the article. abstract_fa ={قرآن کریم آیات پرشماری را با موضوع هدایت و با تعابیر مختلف و متناسبِ مقام سخن، مطرح می کند. مفسران ذیل این دسته آیات به ارائه‌ی دیدگاه های خود درباره‌ی تبیین معنای هدایت همت گماشته اند. یکی از این تعابیر واژه‌ی امام است که در آیه‌ی ابتلا آمده است که صاحب نظران ذیل آن به بیان دیدگاه های خود پرداخته اند. در این میان صاحب تفسیر المیزان با برداشتی بدیع به تفسیر آن اقدام کرده است. در رد برداشت ایشان مقاله ای با عنوان «تأملی در نظریه‌ی علامه طباطبائی در مفهوم امامت در آیه‌ی ابتلا» در شماره‌ی پنج مجله‌ی معرفت کلامی چاپ شد. نویسنده‌ی مقاله  با رد تفسیر مذکور معنای آن را شأنیت دار شدن حضرت ابراهیم(ع) نسبت به اجرای احکام دانسته است. ما در نوشتار حاضر با بررسی ادله‌ی علامه طباطبایی و نیز ادله و مبنای نویسنده بار دیگر نظر علامه را احیا و اثبات کرده ایم. در این مقاله از روش کتابخانه ای در تحقیق و روش قرآن به قرآن در تفسیر بهره جسته ایم.},
