The various motivations of and approaches to the study of spirituality have been the cause of the different interpretations of the reality, roots and results of spirituality. Some believe that spirituality not only differs from religion but also contradicts it. The present paper seeks to review the concepts of "religion" and "spirituality" in order to bring out the difference between true spirituality and false spirituality through classifying the different types of spirituality and examining the basic components of real spirituality. Also, it touches on the relationship between spirituality and intellect, and the necessity of the existence of agreement between the different interpretations of spirituality and rational axioms. Then, it assesses and rejects the arguments of those who assume that there is contradiction between spirituality and religion and confirms the causal relationship between religion and spirituality to conclude that spirituality is exclusive to religious spirituality, and to Islamic spirituality in particular. A documentary- analytical method is used in this research, which seeks to prove the main claim by analyzing and criticizing the arguments offered by those who support the idea of diversity between spirituality and religion نسبت میان معنویت و دین، یکی از مهم ترین مباحث قابل طرح در حوزه‌ی فلسفه‌ی دین و معنویت پژوهی است. تنوع در انگیزه ها و رویکردها در بررسی مفهوم معنویت، سبب ارائه‌ی تفاسیر متفاوت در حقیقت آن و نیز ریشه ها و نتایج آن شده است. برخی، معنویت را نه تنها متفاوت از دین، بلکه متباین و حتی متضاد با آن دانسته اند. هدف اصلی این پژوهش آن است که ابتدا مفاهیم «دین» و «معنویت» را بررسی کند؛ سپس با تقسیم گونه های مختلف معنویت و بررسی مؤلفه های اصلی معنویت حقیقی، تفاوت آن را با معنویت کاذب و نیز معنویت باطل آشکار سازد. همچنین نسبت معنویت و عقل، و نیز ضرورت عدم مخالفت تفاسیر مختلف از معنویت با اصول بدیهی عقلی، به اختصار بررسی شده است. در ادامه ادله‌ی کسانی که معنویت را متباین با عقل دانسته اند، ارزیابی و رد، و علیت دین برای معنویت اثبات گردیده و در پرتو آن، انحصار معنویت در معنویت دینی به ویژه معنویت اسلامی تبیین شده است. روش این تحقیق، اسنادی-تحلیلی است و با بررسی و نقد ادله‌ی طرف داران تباین معنویت و دین، مدعای اصلی اثبات خواهد شد. https://kalami.nashriyat.ir/sites/kalami.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/6.pdf
