abstract = {Using a descriptive-analytical method, the present paper examines the effect of humanism on the development of Reformation Protestantism. To this end, the author first defines humanism and explains its three stages after the Renaissance and the features it has in each of these stages. Having defined the features of humanism during the period of religious reform movement and delved into the life and thoughts of some of the former great thinkers of the movement, the author observes that although the life and thoughts of these thinkers were influenced by humanism, the degree of the influence of them differs, and that some of them no longer believe in the principles of humanism},

abstract_fa ={اين مقاله در صدد بررسي تأثير اومانيسم بر شکل‌گيري نهضت اصلاح ديني (پروتستان) با روش توصيفي ـ تحليلي است. در اين راستا نخست به تعريف اومانيسم اشاره، و پس از بيان مراحل سه‌گانه‌ی اومانيسم از رنسانس به بعد، ويژگي اومانيسم در هر يک از اين مراحل بيان شده است. در ادامه با روش شدن ويژگي‌هاي اومانيسم در دوره‌ی نهضت اصلاح ديني و با واکاوي زندگي و انديشه‌هاي بعضي از بزرگان اصلي و اوليه‌ی نهضت اصلاح دين، نشان داده شده که اگرچه زندگي و انديشه‌ی اين بزرگان متأثر از اومانيسم بوده است، تأثيرپذيري همه‌ی آنها به يک اندازه نبوده و همچنين بعضي از آنها، در دوران‌هايي حتي از اصول اومانيسم عدول کرده‌اند},
