However, this issue has not been fairly dealt with in the works of theologians and researchers. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and referring to reliable traditions, the author investigates this subject, especially the state of Imams in this regard. The most important findings of the research show that, although some thinkers strongly deny the existence of souls before bodies, numerous reliable traditions confirm that the infallible Imams have a luminous and spiritual life. Accordingly, they are the first of those whom God has created. In that stage they had luminous real existence and were engaged in praising and glorifying God. According to reliable traditions, their existence has been a means of grace for the creation of other creatures مسئله‌ی آفرینش نوری امامان معصوم علیهم السلام از مسائلی است که اگرچه در روایات بازتاب درخور توجهی داشته، در آثار متکلمان و محققان کمتر بدان پرداخته شده است. نگارنده در این نوشتار با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و با استفاده از روایات معتبر به بررسی این مسئله، به ویژه شئون امامان علیهم السلام در آن عرصه پرداخته است. بر اساس مهم ترین یافته های این پژوهش، هرچند برخی متفکران، از اساس منکر وجود ارواح قبل از ابدان هستند، روایات معتبر و متعددی بر حیات نوری و روحی امامان علیهم السلام تأکید می کند. بر اساس این روایات، ایشان نخستین آفریدگان خداوند؛ در آن عرصه، وجودی حقیقی و نوری داشته اند و به تمجید و تقدیس پروردگار مشغول بوده اند. بر اساس روایات معتبر، وجود ایشان واسطه‌ی  فیض برای آفرینش دیگر آفریدگان بوده است. https://kalami.nashriyat.ir/sites/kalami.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_7.pdf
