abstract = {Having close acquaintance with the reality of ''spirit'' and its uses in the Qur'an and narrations is a key to understanding many of the principles of Islam. In order to have a proper and clear understanding of the reality of spirit, serious attention should be given to its uses in the Qur'an and narrations, especially with regard to the relationship between the different ways of its use. Naturally, if the relationship between these ways of use is content participation, our interpretation of the reality of spirit will be completely different from the interpretation which is based on ‘’equivocation’’. Hence, the present paper investigates the view of Allamah Tabatabai who has captured Muslim thinkers’ attention. If we examine his works, we may not be able to relate to him any principles about the relationship of the use of spirit in the Qur'an with that in narrations.  Some of his works clearly state that there is equivocation in using the word ’’spirit’’, whereas in some other works, he resorts to the equivocational use of spirit and clearly points to the equivocational use of spirit. The adoption of this unidentified principle leads to the difference in Allamah's views about the interpretation of verses related to spirit. The present paper makes a library-based study and uses a descriptive-analytical method to evaluate it. abstract_fa ={داشتن شناخت صحیح و روشن از حقیقت «روح» و استعمالات آن در قرآن و روایات، کلید فهم بسیاری از اصول و مبانی دین اسلام است. برای رسیدن به فهمی صحیح و روشن از حقیقت «روح» باید استعمالات قرآنی و روایی آن کانون توجه جدی قرار گیرد؛ به ویژه باید نسبت این استعمالات با یکدیگر تبیین شود. بدیهی است که اگر نسبت این استعمالات، اشتراک معنوی باشد، تفسیر ما از حقیقت «روح» کاملا متفاوت با تفسیری خواهد بود که بر اساس «اشتراک لفظی» صورت می گیرد. نوشتار حاضر با توجه به این مسئله، دیدگاه علامه طباطبائی را به عنوان شخصیتی که کانون توجه اندیشمندان اسلامی است، بررسی کرده است. به نظر می رسد با توجه به آثار علامه، نمی توان مبنای مشخصی را درباره‌ی نسبت استعمالات قرآنی و روایی «روح» به ایشان نسبت داد. برخی از آثار ایشان صراحت در «اشتراک معنوی» استعمالات «روح» دارند؛ درحالی که ایشان در برخی دیگر از آثار، به اشتراک «لفظی» استعمالات «روح» روی آورد و به «اشتراک لفظی» آنها تصریح می کند. پیامدهای تفسیری این عدم تعیین مبنا، اختلاف دیدگاه علامه در تفسیر آیات مرتبط با استعمالات «روح» است. نوشتار حاضر به روش کتابخانه ای اطلاعات را گردآوری می کند و به صورت توصیفی ـ تحلیلی به ارزیابی آنها می پردازد و در پایان، با بررسی استعمالات قرآنی و روایی «روح»، مبنایی ثابت در این زمینه ارائه می دهد.},
