The sum of the narrations related to this subject contains details that each narration is enough to express some of them. This paper seeks to collect the narrations related to this subject completely and draw a comprehensive picture of the issue of the multiplicity of human souls in the Imamiyya narrations and verses of the Holy Quran regardless of their validation and interpretation to provide an initial summary of this issue. The results show that all human beings have at least two spirits called the spirit of life and the old spirit. In addition to this, God inspires the spirit of faith to the believers, inspires the Holy Spirit to the prophets, inspires the Holy Spirit, the spirit by the command of the Lord and the spirit of faith to the Prophet of Islam and his successors (PBUT). وجود چند روح برای انسان ها از مباحث مطرح شده در میراث روایی امامیه است که با برخی مسائل کلامی پیوند خورده است. مجموع روایات مرتبط با این موضوع، حاوی تفاصیلی است که هر تک روایت به بیان برخی از آنها بسنده کرده است. مقالۀ حاضر می کوشد روایات مرتبط با این موضوع را به صورت کامل جمع آوری کند و فارغ از اعتبارسنجی و بررسی های تفسیری آنها، با کنار هم چیدن و دسته بندی این روایات، تصویری جامع از مسئله‌ی تعدد ارواح انسان در روایات امامیه و آیات قرآن کریم ترسیم نماید و بر مبنای مضامین پرتکرار این روایات، یک جمع بندی اولیه از این مسئله ارائه دهد. نتیجه‌ی تحقیق آن است که همه‌ی انسان ها دست کم دو روح به نام های روح الحیاة و روح القدیمه دارند. علاوه بر این، خداوند مؤمنان را از روح الایمان و پیامبران را از روح الایمان و روح القدس و پیامبر اسلام و جانشیان ایشان را از روح القدس، روح من امر الرب و روح الایمان نیز بهره مند کرده است. https://kalami.nashriyat.ir/sites/kalami.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_20.pdf
