abstract = {In religious sources, salawat to the Holy Prophet and praying for his elevation are highly recommended. According to narrations, salawat and prayer for the Prophet have many benefits, such as purification of the soul, absolution of sins, and rewards for the those sending blessing and salawat. But the question is: does the Prophet himself, as the recipient of these salawats and prayers, benefit from them? Does his spiritual stage improve in the arc of ascent? Giving various reasons, some believe that the Prophet does not benefit from these prayers and blessings and they can never elevate his existential stage. Using a comprehensive rational-narrative approach, this article examines both the nature of this view and its arguments, and finally proves that prayer and salawat are beneficial both for those who send them and for the Prophet. abstract_fa ={در منابع دینی به صلوات بر پیامبر اکرم و دعا برای رفعت درجه ایشان بسیار سفارش شده است. براساس روایات، این کار منافع زیادی، مثل طهارت نفس، تکفیر گناهان و سنگینی میزان برای شخص دعاکننده و مصلِّی به ارمغان می آورد. اما پرسش این است که آیا خود پیامبر نیز به عنوان مدعوله و مصلَّی علیه از این دعاها و صلوات ها منتفع می شود و درجه ایشان در سیر صعودی افزایش می یابد یا خیر؟ برخی با استناد به دلایل گوناگون معتقدند: پیامبر نفعی از این دعاها و درودها نمی برد و ارتقای وجودی آن حضرت در اثر این ادعیه و صلوات ها غیرممکن است. در این مقاله با رویکرد جامع عقلی ـ نقلی، هم اصل این دیدگاه و هم ادله آن جداگانه بررسی و نقد گردیده و در نهایت ثابت شده است که این ادعیه و صلوات  در کنار برکاتی که برای داعی و مصلی دارد، برای شخص پیامبر هم نافع است و موجب افزونی کمالات و ارتقای درجه آن بزرگوار در قوس صعود می گردد.},
