abstract = {One of the most important issues in the philosophy of religion and modern theology is the issue of "evil" which has drawn the attention of scholars of all religions and sects. This problem takes a different form in Islamic theology and is called the "problem of evil". As long as the material world exists, fight with the “evil” continues and non-religious people attack the religious beliefs of God’s attributes of justice, wisdom and mercy. Therefore, this article tries to explain and analyze Ghazali’s answers – an Ash'ari Muslim scholar - who made a great effort to solve the problem of evil. Using a "library" research method, this article examines the works of this theologian, tries to understand and present his answers to this issue, and will describe and analyze his approaches and foundations. I extracted six answers from Ghazali's works; some of which seem more acceptable which are: the superiority of good over evil, the best system (nizami ahsan), evil as a factor of growth, and the theory of "compensation".},

abstract_fa ={یکی از مهم ترین مسائل در فلسفه دین و کلام جدید مسئله «شر» است که توجه جدی متفکران در همه ادیان و نحله ها را به خود جلب کرده است. این مسئله در کلام اسلامی صورت دیگری پیدا می کند و با عنوان «مسئله شرور» طرح می شود. تا جهان ماده باقی است، جدال با شر هم ادامه دارد و باور دینی نسبت به صفات عدالت، حکمت و رحمانیت خداوند در معرض هجوم غیرمتدینان واقع می شود، بدین روی مقاله حاضر می کوشد تا تقریر و تحلیلی از پاسخ های غزالی، عالم مسلمان اشعری که تلاش زیادی برای حل مسئله شرور نموده است، ارائه دهد. این نوشتار به شیوه «کتابخانه ای»، آثار این متکلم را بررسی کرد و ضمن تلاش برای فهم و ارائه پاسخ های وی، به توصیف و تحلیل رویکردها و مبانی آنها پرداخته است. شش پاسخ از میان آثار غزالی استخراج شد که از میان آنها، برتری خیرات نسبت به شرور، نظام احسن، شرور به  مثابه عامل رشد و نظریه «جبران» قابل قبول تر به نظر می رسند.},
