A Critical Study of "Hawking-Hartel's Boundaryless Model" and Its Philosophical-Theological Implications with an Emphasis on the Transcendental Wisdom

One of the important issues in the relationship between science, religion and philosophy is the theories proposed in modern cosmology. Unlike the standard Big Bang models, which some scholars believe are considerably in agreement with basic religious beliefs such as the Divine creation and the temporal contingence of the world, a number of its quantum models have been used as evidence to oppose theism and creationism. The "Hawking-Hartel boundaryless model" accepts the finiteness of the world; but at the meantime, it denies its limitedness by negation of initial singularity and the zero time presented in the standard model and thereby rejects the existence of God and His irreplaceable role in creation. Using a descriptive-library research method, this article will introduce the aforementioned theory and will rationally-analytically evaluate it, relying on the transcendental wisdom; and reveal its philosophical and theological foundations and results. The outcome is that the mentioned model lacks necessary scientific standards and empirical and theoretical supports. In addition, if we assume the theory is correct, it does not indicate any of Hawking’s philosophical and theological results, and all of its deductions are a result of its weak philosophical foundations and do not have the necessary stability.

Title :بررسی انتقادی «مدل بیمرزی هاوکینگ ـ هارتل» و دلالت‌های فلسفی ـ الهیاتی آن با تأکید بر حکمت متعالیه
Abstract:
نظریه های طرح شده در کیهان شناسی نوین، از جمله مسائل مهم در رابطه علم و دین و فلسفه است. برخلاف مدل های استاندارد مِه بانگ که به نظر شماری از اندیشمندان توافق قابل ملاحظه ای با عقاید پایه دینی مانند آفرینش الهی و حدوث زمانی جهان دارد، شماری از مدل های کوانتومی آن دستاویزی برای مخالفت با خداگرایی و آفرینش باوری قرار گرفته است. از این گونه است «مدل بی مرزی هاوکینگ ـ هارتل» که می کوشد در عین پذیرش تناهی جهان؛ با نفی تکینگی آغازین و زمان صفر مطرح در مدل استاندارد، کرانمندی آن را نفی و به این وسیله وجود خدا و نقش بی بدیل او در آفرینش را مردود اعلام کند. مقاله پیش رو بر آن است تا به روش کتابخانه ای ـ توصیفی نظریه یادشده را معرفی و سپس به روش عقلی ـ تحلیلی، به ویژه با تکیه بر حکمت متعالیه، آن را مورد سنجش قرار داده، مبانی و نتایج فلسفی و الهیاتی اش را آشکار سازد. ماحصل تحقیق این است که مدل یادشده فاقد استانداردهای لازم علمی و پشتوانه های تجربی و نظری است. افزون بر آن، بر فرض درستی اصل نظریه، بر هیچ یک از نتایج فلسفی و الهیاتی موردنظر هاوکینگ دلالت نداشته و برداشت های صورت گرفته، همه ناشی از ضعف بن مایه های فلسفی و فاقد استواری لازم است.
