Abstract:
Undoubtedly, the Imamate issue is the most important disputed issue in the Islamic world. Shia believe that the Imam of the Ummah and immediate successor of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is Amir al-Mominin Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him). One of the Shia reasons from the Holy Quran is verse 33 of Surah Ahzab, which is known as the purification verse. Shia scholars believe that this verse clearly states that the Ahl al-Bayt are infallible and according to Islamic traditions, the Ahl al-Bayt are: the Prophet, Commander of the Faithful, Fatima Zahra, Hassan and Hussain (peace be upon them); And reason says that the Imam of the Ummah must be infallible, so no one had the authority to succeed the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) except the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him). Sunni scholars have also always opposed this matter and tried to distort the Shia argument. One of the contemporary scholars who used this argument and distorted it in his opinion is Mr. Faisal Noor in the book "Al-Imamah wa Nas". Therefore, this article with a descriptive-analytical and library method tries to raise and answer his problems and finally it will be stated that none of his problems are valid and all of them are weak and baseless and the Shia argument is unblemished and solid. and it proves the caliphate of Amirul Momineen (peace be upon him).
